Blue Tits 2026 The Blue Tits struggled again this year to get in and out of the box,but nevertheless managed to successfully breed this year. We have no clue as to how many as we were too late to get the cameras set up before they were into their parenthood. |
Sparrows 2026 This year have caught us on the hop again, they started nesting in
late March. There have been three broods of five eggs. The 1st brood
lost one chick but successfully reared four. The second brood all were
successfully fledged and on the 14th July a third clutch had been
laid.

I have managed to set up an outside camera and are hoping to
get some fledging footage. Fingers
crossed! |
 Jly 24 th, it appears that only four of the five eggs
have hatched. |
| Disaster, 29th Jly, overnight all the chicks died. The parents left the chicks unattended from 21.00 until 05.50 and unfortunately none survived. |
